Off-Road Championship
The Harrogate Harriers Off Road Championships has been updated for 2024!
A few changes for the off roaders in 2024, more races, and some exciting team events. Qualification has changed to include Trail races & Peco XC races.
The season will run from Jan 2024 to Feb 2025 as we will now include Peco in our champs - just as much mud as the fell runs so why not!!
Bonus points are available again for Team events. The British fell relays are in Appletreewick this year so it is definitely worth signing up to Runners and Riders fell race on 4th Feb also in Appletreewick.
Get the dates booked in, it's going to be a fantastic year of running.
The championship results leaderboard is updated regularily, usually soon after each race results are published.

Rules for 2024
You have to do SIX races in order to qualify for a finishing position in the Championship. If you do more, then your best six will go towards determining your position in the final championship table.
To Qualify you will only need 2 fell races, 2 Trail races and 2 Peco so it's up to you how far you want to run and how muddy you want to get.
Scoring for 2024
For Non-Team races: 1st Harrier home gets 10 points, 2nd Harrier gets 9 points, 3rd Harrier 8 points and so on. If more than 10 Harriers then the last few will get 1 point each.
Team Events: 1 point for volunteering for HH squad for a team event (but not selected), everyone who takes part in the team event gets 5 points
Championship Winners
The winning Open Entrant/Female will be the ones that score the most points, but there will also be Open/Female V40, V50 and V60 vets categories.
Only 1st Claim Members will be able to take part in the off-road champs.
